A round table with political parties has been held in the Election commission of Rostov region.
On July 2 in Election commission of Rostov region a round table with heads of regional branches of political parties has taken place. The meeting was held on the threshold of early election on September 12 when early election of four heads of city and rural settlements will take place. And on the eve of uniform day of voting on October 10, 2010, as well. On this day in Rostov region elections will be held in ten municipal areas and city districts. 155 deputies of municipal dumas and regional Meetings of deputies, and also seven heads of municipal areas and city districts will be elected.
Representatives of all seven political parties registered in the region were present at the meeting. Political palette was represented by: Galina Grigoryevna Zinchenko, deputy head of regional executive committee of the Rostov regional branch of All-Russia political party Yedinaya Rossiya; Vladimir Mikhaylovich Kalinko, the vice-president of regional branch of All-Russia political party Pravoye Delo in Rostov region; Sergey Aleksandrovich Kosinov, the head of the apparatus of bureau of council of the Rostov regional branch of political party Spravedlivaya Rossiya in Rostov region; Lev Gennadyevich Kushnaryov, the assistant to the chairman of committee of Rostov regional branch of political party Patrioty Rossii; Sergey Viktorovich Mironov, chairman of Rostov branch of Russian incorporated democratic party Yabloko; Vera Grigoryevna Tishkova, the secretary of committee of the Rostov regional branch of political party of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation; Alexander Borisovich Tyurin, the co-ordinator of the Rostov regional branch of political party LDPR.
Each of them could make a speech and take part in discussion of pressing questions.
As the Chairman of Election commission of Rostov region Sergey Vladimirovich Yusov has noted in an opening address:
— Similar meetings on the eve of elections became a good tradition. Previous time we have met in preparation for March elections. Today we can discuss in advance aspects of joint activity at different stages of election campaign. As practice has shown, active interaction with political parties, including involving of their representatives in work of election committees, considerably reduces conflictness of elective process, promotes increase of mutual trust.
S.V.Yusov has urged representatives of political parties to exercise more actively the right to enlist the representatives into structure of local election committees. While political parties do not hasten to realise this possibility. Besides, he has suggested representatives of parties to undergo courses of organizers of elections.
Claims of political parties in general were similar: they do not have equal possibilities of access to mass-media in election campaign carrying out. However the given thesis was denied by present representatives of printing mass-media and TV. As they said, political parties do not hasten to take advantage even of the right to free placing of the pre-election information in mass-media that leads to the fact that they do not use a limit of free space given to them in printing mass-media. Besides, their representatives evade and from participation in television debates.
S.V.Yusov has called to more critically concern the information placed on sites of political parties where frequently appears unchecked, and unreliable information.
Among technical means which are planned for use on future elections are: web cameras on sites, GLONASS devices for the control over movement of bulletins, electronic means of voting and counting of votes. Similar innovations have interested representatives of all political parties.
Despite political antagonism of representatives of various parties, conversation has turned out to be interesting and constructive. It is decided to hold such meetings in future. The nearest meeting is planned on September.
