On June 18 of 2010 the State Duma of Federal Meeting of the Russian Federation has passed a Federal law «About modification of the Federal law «About the basic guarantees of election rights and the rights to participation in a referendum of citizens of the Russian Federation».
On June 23, 2010 the Federation Council of Federal Meeting of the Russian Federation has approved the bill.
At the moment the bill is sent for signing to the President of the Russian Federation D.A.Medvedev.
The bill provides for possibility of an establishment laws of subjects of the Russian Federation on promotion procedure by elective associations of lists of candidates on one-mandatory (multimandatory) election districts, and as an order of assurance of the specified lists by the election committee organizing elections.
The given positions of the legislation of subjects of the Russian Federation can be applied at carrying out of regional and local elections.
